My week thus far...

It's been a couple of days. I started an entry yesterday but I actually had work to do at work so I didn't get around to finishing it. Because I don't have Movable type or whatever program the cool bloggers use, I have to just close the window (no saving allowed!)

Anyway I spent Sunday evening putting hundreds of pictures into albums. My family has 25 years worth of photos (that I know of) and probably scores more than I don't to album-ize. We have boxes and boxes of duplicates of pictures just lying around and we can never locate a pic when we need it. It's crazy.

And a couple of years ago, someone blocked the drain in the laundry room so that the water in the tub-thingy overflowed and went down the heating pipe, into the basement where the boxes of photos are kept. Some pics got water damage and that got me thinking (pretty slowly, since it's two years later) that I should put them in albums, and then move them somewhere more accessible for us to actually look at them and remember all the places we've lived and people we've known.

There is a selfish reason for doing this too: when I move out I'll probably be able to take an album or two of pics because of all the duplicates we have lying around.

We also have lots of those cool "mulitple" photo frames that I want to put pictures with a similar theme (Christmas past, the 4 kids nth birthday, etc), to be cool. I'm already making my sister a photo album of pics of her and I over the years (it was supposed to be part of this year's birthday gift) so this'll help me find pics, for sure.

I love pictures! I can't wait till I can learn as much as I can about photography and framing and all that fun stuff.

I love Megan's new layout. I still haven't found a layout that calls to me, nor have I designed one. *Glump*

I have a really hard midterm tomorrow. I fell asleep studying last night and got at least 8.5 hours of sleep. Let's hope this means I'll be able to get by on 6 hours of sleep tonight. I'm thinking of skipping volleyball tonight to study...but I need volleyball. I don't think I'm going to skip. I'll have to see how I feel around 5:30, when I'll be done here (Heart Institute). The good thing is I can do a bit of studying here while I wait for my supervisor to come back from the seminar she's at. So why don't I go do that?
