100 things about me!

1. I don't like to share.
   
2. I read romance novels, especially ones that take place in the 19th century, all the time.
   
3. I cannot stand body odour or bad breath.
   
4. I have size 11 feet that are wide and cause me a lot of grief in the "finding cool shoes" department. My feet were size ten when I was 10 years old!!
   
5. I am trying to get have got a Bachelor's degree in Biochemisty. And one in Arts.
   
6. I seem to have a gift for Linguistics.
   
7. I am addicted to words, especially words that were used by the people of the 19th century.
   
8. I spend WAY too much time online.
   
9. I am a bad liar, especially when I have to do it to someone's face.
   
10. ...but I can tell white lies convincingly.
    
11. I've never been in love.
    
12. I believe in true love.
    
13. I think there is more than one person on earth that could be perfect for you.
    
14. I love backrubs.
    
15. I also love it when people play with my hair.
    
16. I feel like I know my online friends better than some of my real life friends.
    
17. I am addicted to lipbalm.
    
18. I am also into handcream.
    
19. I work at a clothing store and though the pay sucks I like the clothing discount and I really like interacting with customers.
    
20. I hate having ice in my drinks.
    
21. I don't drink pop (soda) very often.
    
22. I'd pick water over soda unless I was feeling very sugar-deprived.
    
23. I love skittles (wildberry) and have been addicted to them since I was 17.
    
24. I love making people laugh and in real life I try to be a clown.
    
25. I had a huge terrifyingly enormous crush on a very close friend of mine and think he was the closest I have ever come to loving someone.
    
26. I am sensitive and stories that involve the death of a character (in a book or movie) always make me cry.
    
27. I have no memory for faces.
    
28. I have no memory for movies or tv shows (actors, actresses, plots).
    
29. I never know the name of the latest 'Top 40' music though it is the music I like the best.
    
30. I like country music because a lot of the ballads are soooo romantic.
    
31. Even though I'm fixated on romance I worry that I'm not truly romantic.
    
32. I never believe anyone's compliments about my looks.
    
33. I look in the mirror a lot when I'm at home but rarely in public.
    
34. I go through phases where I'll eat the exact same thing for lunch each day for months and then I'll get sick of it and switch it up and repeat the cycle.
    
35. I am Christian, Baptist to be more specific.
    
36. My favourite alcoholic drink is Sex on the beach: vodka, amaretto, orange juice, cranberry juice and peach schnapps.
    
37. People often ask me for relationship advice though I have never had a serious relationship.
    
38. I am closest to my father and because of that I clash the most with him.
    
39. My sister and I also clash often. Our favourite topic of argument: Why is she so damn messy??!?! (we share a bathroom)
    
40. I want to be married by age 30...I've added 5 years to my old date cuz I'm running out of time.
    
41. I'm a big procrastinator.
    
42. I don't have my license because of a serious problem (see #41).
    
43. I can bake pretty well and cook simple things.
    
44. I don't think women should necessarily have to know how to cook and have more kitchen smarts than their boyfriend/husband.

47. ....except to my sister about what idiots I work with. Okay. I gossip but only to friends. I really just hate the type of crazy work gossip that goes on, if you know what I mean.

49. I've become less judgemental since I've started talking online (2 years 0n December 2002).

51. I have a huge gap between my two front teeth that is bugging me more and more each day.
    
52. I haven't eaten breakfast regularly since I was in grade school.
    
53. If I had to give up skittles for one thing, it would be for my mom's diabetes to go away (ironic?).
    
54. I'm at the age when I notice my parents getting older and that's scares me.
    
55. I like doing lots of things on my own such as shopping and get annoyed with people who have to have someone with them to do anything. I value independence very highly.
    
56. I don't like to watch tv for long hours because of #28.
    
57. I sing unconsciously pretty much whenever.
    
58. Sometimes I end sentences 'weirdly' when talking. I end them in a higher note than the rest of the words in that sentence. Now, according to my linguistics class, english is a language that does that for questions, but I do that for other phrases too.
    
59. I usually have french words mixed in with english ones when I'm talking, or a I use an accent that is not my own in parts of normal conversation. I do this unconsciously.
    
60. I drink with my pinky out and eat chicken wings and ribs with my pinkies out. I am always made fun for this by my friends.
    
61. I have been a stalker before: in grade 7 (the guy was in grade 8). My friend and I would run out of homeroom and run to his homeroom so we could find out what class he went to for first period, etc. We were very good and we got a huge chunk of his schedule down. We (I) also wrote down what clothing he'd wear to school. I'm over that now....honest... ;)
    
62. I'm very idealistic but not as naive as people think I am.
    
63. I have never broken a bone or gotten a bee sting.
    
64. I use the term "best friend" very carefully and rarely call anyone my best friend. I think it's because I feel it would give them a lot of power in my life.
    
65. I try to be uninfluenceable...especially by friends cuz I don't want to be a *victim* of peer pressure.
    
66. I used to get my hair braided in funky patterns but now I get it chemically straightened so I can wash and go. My mommy used to spend hours braiding it.
    
67. All my extended family is in Nigeria and I hope to go there someday to visit.
    
68. I sleep way too much and can sleep for a dozen hours at any given time.
    
69. I think guys or girls who cheat on their significant others should not be given a second chance....though in that situation I cannot say I would not give the idiot a second chance.
    
70. I only love silver jewelry...though platinum and white gold are cool too!
    
71. My new year's resolution has been to lose weight since I've been 9 or 10. I have yet to do it, prolly cuz of #41.
    
72. I'm very bossy and often think that my way is the best way. But I try to only offer my suggestion when I really think it *is* the best :p .

74. I received my first kiss on the lips at the ripe old age of...really old.
    
75. I have a few regrets, most of which are connected to my lack of self confidence.
    
76. I am not very smart at university, and have failed more than one course. I find this mortifying and it really brings me down when I think about it.

78. I love being outdoors and falling asleep in the sun.
    
79. I love taking photographs and like being in them. I love black and white pictures the most.
    
80. I like doing crafts and making things. I've just rediscovered knitting and I'm (slowly) making myself a scarf.
    
81. I like to drink herbal teas and don't drink coffee that often.
    
82. I am always trying to improve myself but find that I have a very hard time sticking to new routines. I rarely last more than 2 days.
    
83. I love pens and other school supplies and have spent too much money over the years on such things.
    
84. I'm a very picky eater and I'm really weird about condiments and sauces. I don't like to add condiments to my food but I'll eat it if it's already there. For example, I'll order a burger at a fast food place with ketchup and mustard, but at home I eat them plain. I eat everything plain. I don't dip fries in anything. I don't eat mayo, salad dressing, mustard, sour cream, cottage cheese, any of that stuff.
    
85. I'm a germophobe and always tell my friends and family not to touch me if I even suspect their hands are not clean.
    
86. I have a phobia of being barfed on in a bus.
    
87. I've never had a balance carry on to the next month on my VISA or Mastercard. Even if I have to borrow (interest-free) from my sister I'll do it. I hate having to pay interest.
    
88. My favourite movie is probably Ghost.
    
89. My favourite song changes too often to be put down.
    
90. I have super low self esteem but with the Fab 5 I'm good at hiding it. Actually, Rich, Ves and I all do.
    
91. My favourite ice cream flavour is mint chocolate chip. I really used to be addicted to mint.
    
92. I'd rather love and lose than never love even though actually living through it sucks.
    
93. I have this thing for lefties. I think left handedness is really cool and it's one of those things I notice about a person almost right away.
    
94. I say "um" and "like" a lot in conversation. Even when I'm chatting online, I'll type "like".
    
95. My laugh has been called 'infectious' and we've had evenings at either Rich & Ves' or Eli's house where we are laughing ourselves to tears cuz I started my high pitched laughing...it gets more high pitched as it goes along...hold your ears!
    
96. I've always wanted to be a pediatrician when I grow up cuz I love kids but I'm doubting my ability to reach that goal now.
    
97. Because my name is not common, I always like having things made or making myself things with my name on it. My initials spell OOOF!
    
98. I think I'm closer to my family than most people my age.
    
99. I don't have to make plans days or weeks ahead, I like just picking up and going.
